SUMMARY: SYSERR(root) NIS messages written on client's screen

I got one answer and that was the right suggestion.
Thanks to Michael DeSimone, Computers & Stuff, which pointed out to
check my /etc/nsswitch.conf first.

I had forgotten to replace the file /export/root/alfa/etc/nsswitch.conf
for the client from nis based to file based.  
After that, the error mesages written on the screen was stopped.
