SUMMARY: console frame buffer

The on-board pgx24 graphics is not supported in 2.6
without a special patch.

I had 5/10 Solaris 2.6, so I know this worked with
that distribution:

Load cd "Sun Ultra 5/10 Software Supplement"
cd
/cdrom/sun_ultra_5_10_series_hw_ab/Patches/105362-13
./installpatch .
init 6  # to reboot.

Work like a charm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

boot off the cdrom -s 
mount /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 /a 
cd /tmp/dev 
tar cvfp - . | ( cd /a/dev; tar xvfp - ) 
cd /tmp/devices 
tar cvfp - . | ( cd /a/devices; tar xvfp - ) 
cd 
umount /a 
fsck -y /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0 
init 6

I didn't get to try this one.

-r. I tried that but no cigar.
