SUMMARY: forcing full duplex

Sir/Madams:
As I suspected, faster responses to my question from the group than 
sun.  It WAS in an infodoc after all:

Too many responses to list, thanks to all.  I must have used bad search 
string on Sunsolve.  There is a ton of info on the sun-managers faq on 
setting it up in /etc/system or writing a startup script.

This was all going through instant messenger to a sa in the field, your 
quick responses really helped.
