My original question was: > Hi all, > I'm trying to build and deploy openssh on my SUN enterprise systems. Here's what I did. First I downloaded and installed following packages from www.sunfreeware.com 1) zlib-1.1.3-sol7-sparc-local.gz 2) openssl-0.9.6b-sol7-sparc-local.gz 3) libgcc-3.0-sol7-sparc-local.gz 4) openssh-2.9p2-sol7-sparc-local.gz Then generated the ssh_keys with the following commands: ssh-keygen -t dsa -f /usr/local/etc/ssh_host_dsa_key ssh-keygen -t rsa1 -f /usr/local/etc/ssh_host_key ssh-keygen -t rsa -f /usr/local/etc/ssh_host_rsa_key Hit return at each prompt /usr/local/sbin/sshd This started the ssd daemon. and now i can ssh from one system to another!
