[SUMMARY] Printing simple ascii files

Thanks go to Jason, Todd, Mike, and Tim

Todd and Tim hit the nail on the head with suggesting changing the
setting on the printer itself to append a CR to LF.  There were similar
suggestions to do this on the print-server but I did not try them out
because this worked right away.

My original question was concerning how to turn off stair stepping for
simple ascii text files.
