The file does not exist. On rebooting I got the Solaris 8 kernel startup and the init asterisk thing happening, and then various warning messages about not being able to find entries in dev/grppm etc etc etc and forced back to the openboot prompt, if I tell it to "go" it kernel panics, I am trying the upgrade again over the top but at this point in time I don't have high hopes for it. Has anyone come across this before? it's now 12:02am and I am feeling a little sleepy. ;) Once again, thankyou for assistance already rendered. Special thanks to "Greg" who referred me to the http://sunblade100.wells.org.uk/ site which has proved to be quite a definitive resource to all Blade 100 related queries thus far.
