Just a summary :
To know whether it's a Netra box, given the login and passwd for the
machine, Assume that Sol 8 is installed and Netra box is in network, up
ready and running. we can use any of these commands;
uname -a, 
prtconfig -v
sysdef
which gives less information about Netra;
 but 
/usr/platform/`uname -i`/sbin/prtdiag -v
gives much more info about Netra Box.
