SUMMARY: VMSA server terminated error

For those of you who have not run into this, I solved the problem.  On the
Veritas support site, there was a reference to a problem close to the one
that I experienced, referencing ia_auth_acctmg (TechNote ID: 235348).  I
followed the instructions there for solving that issue, and it worked
perfectly:

mv /usr/lib/libauth.so /usr/lib/ORIG-libauth.so
mv /usr/lib/libauth.so.1 /usr/lib/ORIG-libauth.so.1
