My thanks to those that replied. There was only one report of problems, but this was with a different Financials version. Everyone else reported that they had no problems doing this upgrade. One person said they even just plugged a hard drive into their Solaris 8 server, and no-one had any dramas. Thanks again, Neil -------- Original Message -------- G'day, We're running Solaris 2.6 on an E4000. This is an Oracle DB and Financials server. Over the next few weeks I'm going to be upgrading to Solaris 8. I have done this on another server which is only running Oracle DB. What I would like to know is if anyone has run into any problems with Oracle Financials after upgrading Solaris. I realise this is possibly off-topic, but I know of no other plavce I can turn to. Relevant details - E4000 6 cpus, 1920M RAM. Solaris 2.6 Oracle 7.3.4 Oracle Financials 10.7 Thanks, I will summarize. Neil -- Razors pain you; Rivers are damp; Acids stain you; And drugs cause cramp. Guns aren't lawful; Nooses give; Gas smells awful; You might as well live. -- Dorothy Parker _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Thu Feb 14 20:53:17 2002
