Thanks to Simon-Bernard Drolet and Buddy Lumpkin who suggested I put the VCS controlled file systems in /etc/vfstab with a mount option of "no." This will work fine, I just have to make sure that some dumb ass doesn't come along later and change it to yes (documentation, documentation, documentation!..). I was hoping that there was a way to do it with the backup software but I guess not.. Changa P.S. no thanks to that little punk Steve Renner who suggested I use Veritas :} I'll take care of you on the court in a few weeks... ----- Forwarded by Changamire Anderson/Person/World Bank on 02/22/2002 01:34 PM ----- > canderson1@worldbank.org wrote: > > > > Hey, everybody, > > I've got a question about Solstice Backup (Legato Networker): I have > > clients that are in a VCS configuration, so all of my filesystems are NOT in > > /etc/vfstab.
