It turned out that we had cvspserver 2401/tcp in services and 2401 stream tcp nowait root /usr/local/bin/cvs cvs -f --allow-root=/home/swval pserver in inetd.conf instead of cvspserver We changed 2401 to service name "cvspserver" in inetd.conf and it worked. Thank you >Hello, >How do I configure a service on port 2401? Is this port off limits?
