Question: >Is there a file that contains all the paths/files that a pkgadd install >creates. I looked in /var/sadm/pkg directory, as well as the >/var/sadm/sysadm directories. Answer: Received several answers, but the two that are consistent with 90% of the replies are. 1.) grep <pkgfile> /var/sadm/install/contents > <file> 2.) pkgchk -v <pkgfile> The first option gives you pretty much the pkgadd 'protoype' attributes. As for the second option, it gives only the directory paths (which is what I needed). Thanks for the quick responses. Especially from Mark McManus; Evans, Tim; Bernhaed Sadlowski; Andrew J Caines; Jay Chembakassery; Johnie Stafford; Lars Hecking; Price, Chris; and Debbie Tropiano. _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Thu Mar 7 14:22:11 2002
