coreadm -g /var/crash/core.%f.%p

 %f=executable file name

Subject: a couple of questions about core files

Hi-

I am curious if there is a way to get core files to be written as core.<pid>
instead of overwriting an existing core file? Also, is there a way to log a
core dump to syslog? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have had no
luck finding this information online. I will post a summary....

Thanks Much
-Andrew
