In short, Tony's was most effective and is summarized below: "Try renaming or deleting the .Xpdefaults file in your local home directory and then restarting Star Office. This file will quite often get corrupted when you try to play with printer configuration and it does not get cleared when you remove printer services. When you restart SO, you will need to click on Printer Setup and then click on the button in the bottom left hand corner to 'Match Settings Locally'. This will generate a clean copy from the read only installation copy of the file. " Worked a treat! Callum A.
