[SUMMARY] Mapping device file to physical devices.

My question was on mapping from the long filename for a device to the
physical position on the E10K or other modern hardware.

No one had a link for a Sun document, but I did get a nice ascii
description of what's going on in the E10K from Sergio Luiz Novaes.
You'll want a monospaced font to read it properly.

/sbus@41,0/SUNW,hme@0,8c0000 as an example:
- locating System Board: get the sbus@41 (or pci@41), get 41 in binary:
       4       1
   0 1 0 0   0 0 0 1
   _ _ _________ _ _
   ! !     !     ! !
   ! !     !     ! ----> sbus number
   ! !     !     ------> don't care (useful only for processor)
   ! !     ------------> Sys Board Number
   ! ------------------> 1 - I/O,  0 - Processor
   --------------------> don't care (always 0)

so sbus@41 is on SysBoard 0, and sbus 1
- locating sbus slot (only for sbus): get hme@0

---> where "0" indicates slot 0,  "1" slot 1 so hme@0 in on slot 0.

That's exactly what I needed for this time, but if anyone knows of
information for newer hardware or a link to any Sun documentation, I'll
pass that along.

Thanks.
