The answer is to use openldap, and to recompile php with ldap. I found a web page here: http://www.ypass.net/solaris8/openldap/ I notice that all of you use openldap instead of iplanet product. But i want to use iplanet ds because it's free, and i want to use it as a nis server, to manage all my nis clients on my network, without changing old machines to ldap clients. I don t know if openldap is capable of doing this. Perhaps i have to read the doc... And i don t find where is Netscape Directory SDK On Wed, Apr 17, 2002 at 07:22:09PM +0200, Gerard Henry wrote: > hello, > i want to use ldap in php on my solaris 8.
