I've also asked about updating some old workstations I have, specifically a sparcstation IPX and a Sparcstation 2. Many people suggested me to try solutions from Cycle and ROSS, I've finally decided to follow the advice some of you suggested: Buy second hand equipment may be Ultra 2 or at least sparcstation 5. Hopefully this computeres will make their way to the local LUG.
