Hi Thanks to Darren, Michel, Kris, Tim, Hocke, Evans, Randy, Daniel, Stace, Alex, Mark, Dragon, Frabrice, Giardian, McCaffity Everybody pointed towards installing binutil package to solve the problem. Also some advised to use 2.95.3 on PRODUCTION Server But to take advantage of 64-bit I have installed GCC3.0.3, before it I installed "binutil" package. That worked... I successfully installed Samba2.2.2 & Top3.5beta version. Thanks Ath > Hi > > I have Solaris 8 installed on FunFire880. Now I have > installed GCC 3.0.3, m4.1.4, make.3.77.
