Thanks to Gnanagurusamy B,Tom Leung, Scott Howard. I just found it, and pls accept my apologies for posting this stupid question. Anyway, it also has some interesting outcome. The answer: that cdrom can not read my CDs. I tried some better CD and everything goes well. The interesting outcome is : # mount -F hsfs -o ro /dev/dsk/c0t2d0s0 /mnt mount: /dev/dsk/c0t2d0s0 no such device --> mount gives me the "no such device" when cdrom can not read my cd # mount -F hsfs -o ro /dev/dsk/c0t2d0s0 /mnt # ls /mnt AUTORUN DED IMAGES JAVA MEC AUTORUN.INF EC INDEX.HTM LEGAL SEARCH BOOKINDX HELP INTRO MAGAZINE readme.txt --> after replacing with the good cd, it works. Anyway, thanks everybody.
