Thanks to all who replied. Some thought it might be an issue with the 32/64bit, and suggested upgrading to 2.8 or 2.9. PeopleSoft issues prevented that option in the first place. However, it turned out to be a missing package from the upgrade. The Federated Naming Service package, SUNWfns, was missing. A qucik pkgadd and a start and stop of lpsched took care of the issue.
