The answer is simple.. "You can't get there, from here!" Basically, on qfe/hme/eri/etc. you are able to set the network driver parameters in the /etc/system file. For whatever reason (unknown to me), you can only set the ce driver parameters via a startup script with a bunch of ndd commands or via the /kernel/drv/ce.conf file. The following lines work perfectly on a V880 in the /etc/system file: set eri:adv_autoneg_cap = 0 set eri:adv_100fdx_cap = 1 set eri:adv_100hdx_cap = 0 set eri:adv_10fdx_cap = 0 set eri:adv_10hdx_cap = 0 But for the ce interface, the following lines don't work. Any ideas? set ce:adv_autoneg_cap = 0 set ce:adv_100fdx_cap = 1 set ce:adv_100hdx_cap = 0 set ce:adv_10fdx_cap = 0 set ce:adv_10hdx_cap = 0 set ce:adv_1000fdx_cap = 0 set ce:adv_1000hdx_cap = 0 Thanks for the help, and will summarize. _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Sat Sep 21 10:19:47 2002
