Thanks to Thornton Prime David Foster With your help everything is working fine now. The option is: scp -o UsePrivilegedPort=no .... Bye Heiko -----Urspr|ngliche Nachricht----- Von: Heiko Ziegler Gesendet: Mittwoch, 13. November 2002 18:30 An: Sun-Managers (E-Mail) Betreff: How to configure SSH not to use privileged ports Hi Managers, i am using Solaris 9 with Sun_SSH_1.0. If I connect to a machine with OpenSSH in the internet, our firewall blocks the connection, because Suns SSH is using the privileged Port 1023 which our firewall doesn`t allow. If I use "ssh -P user@machine" everything is fine. My problem is, I have to scp to this machine. I know, scp is using the configuration of ssh, but I didn4t find a option in "/etc/ssh/ssh_config" where to configure. Can anybody tell me the option for "/etc/ssh/ssh_config" or the passing option for "scp -o ....." please. Thanks in advance.
