Thanks for everyone's input. Everyone pretty much agreed that we will have to reboot for now. The update_drv command in Solaris 9 might help us out a little when we roll that out. We would like to do this since we track downtime, etc. and often get requests for more disk space added to these boxes from our EMC SAN in which we have to modify the sd.conf file and reboot.
