I'd like to thank the following people for their support: Alex Ugolini Paul Clayton Ric Anderson Juergen Waiblinger John, Ted Glenn Harrison Aleksey Tsalolikhin Graham Wood Bertrand_Hutin (for the original question look below) here is the answer: Go to the advanced tab of the TCP/IP properties for the NIC. In there you can assign multiple IPs (table at the top of the form from memory). original question: Hi everybody, please excuse my post here, I know this is really off-toppic but I've searched over one hour on the M$-site plus several attemps on yahoo and google. I'm accessing several unix machines - via ftp - with my laptop running win2000. Each of this machines are in different Subnets. Since I've no permission to add a route, I've to change my IP-address every time. Now, what I want to do is to assign several IP-adesses to my laptop NIC. That's an easy task under Solaris, but how to do this in win2k ??? _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Thu Dec 12 08:52:28 2002
