Thanks to all for the help. It did turn out to be a defective memory problem. I ended up pulling all but two of the modules and it worked OK. This was surprising to me because the modules all passed the power on self test (I set the eeprom to test ALL the memory at power up). I thought that perhaps it was failing after warming up, but it passed the post immediately after crashing. Anybody know of a good memory testing program? I need to test the remaining modules to see which was bad.
