Hi guys, Thanks all for the quick responses! It's really a great list! The solution was to install the QLogic drivers (SUNWqlc & SUNWqlcx), which I though should be installed automatically in a full installation... After the installation and a patch update everything is fine. Thanks again, JS Subject: T3 not seen in Solaris 9 From: Steinhauer Juergen <gawith@gmx.de> To: sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org Content-Type: text/plain Message-Id: <1079973614.731.22.camel@ginger.ip.de-ignite.net> Mime-Version: 1.0 X-Mailer: Ximian Evolution 1.4.5 Date: Mon, 22 Mar 2004 17:40:14 +0100 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi guys, I have a V440, Solaris 12/03 Full Installation, with two T3s connected. I can see the T3s in the OBP /pci@1d,700000/SUNW,qlc@2 LiD HA LUN --- Port WWN --- ----- Disk description ----- 1 1 0 50020f23000080e2 SUN T300 0118 1 1 1 50020f23000080e2 SUN T300 0118 /pci@1c,600000/SUNW,qlc@1 LiD HA LUN --- Port WWN --- ----- Disk description ----- 1 1 0 50020f2300008247 SUN T300 0118 1 1 1 50020f2300008247 SUN T300 0118 ,but unfortunately not in the OS. I'm a little bit astonished, that I find neither any qlc entries in /var/adm/messages, nor a qlc entry in /etc/system. All the reconfig-commands (boot -r, drvconfig) have no effect. Any help is welcome!
