Thanks to Paul Boven who reminded me to check the crontab of the sys user and sure enough, it was running sa1 twice at 20&40 minutes of every hour between 8-5 monday to friday along with the other sa1 line I have that runs ever 5 minutes , 24x7 I had: 0,5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50,55 * * * * /usr/lib/sa/sa1 20,40 8-17 * * 1-5 /usr/lib/sa/sa1 I've commented out the second line. Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Steve Mickeler wrote: We've noticed what appears to be a bug in sa on solaris 9. When running sar, we'll see entries that show 100% utilization in the sys field, but if you look closer, you'll see there was a previous entry for the same time which appears to have the correct info for that time. _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Thu Jul 15 16:39:51 2004
