I still get mails on a regular base from people who find my posting in the net and ask if I found a solution for it. Short answer: unfortunately not. We found some kind of workaround to get rid of the problem: We recreate the user password *and* the user credentials in NIS+, like this most of the users are able to login again afterwards. However, there are some user/machine combinations where it still does not work for whatever reason. This is not a fix but it's better than nothing. We stopped investigating a lot into this problem because we move the whole NIS+ to LDAP now. I got some tips back then from the list but none of them solved our problem. cu Adrian -- Adrian Gschwend System Administrator University of applied sciences Biel, Switzerland _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Mon Jul 19 09:18:07 2004
