My Chl3 on each 3310 was configured on a scsi id on controller 2 - I only have one controller access 3310 via console and reconfigured DOH ....................................................... Hi All, I have connected two 3310 scsi arrays to 2 v240's. I have build one raid 5 disks on the arrays constsing of the only 5 disks in each. I have cabled up as single channel, I have cabled up ch1 to node 1, ch3 to node 2 on each array. from obp i can see the disk of 3310 on ch1 - the array only of the 3310 on ch3 - on each server. when devfsadm;disks, i can see then in format only the raid 5 disk on the connected 3310 on chn1 - but not the "remote" disks on chn3 Anyone any ideas, I only see mention also of the "local " chn 1 device in messages as below, pci@3scsi@4 is the chn1 device - connected ! pci@2scsi@4 is the ch3 device that i cannot see. I have configured scsi inititator via an nvram file as per blueprintes doc as below also ( on one machine only ) Sep 13 09:34:12 obeora1 scsi: [ID 365881 kern.info] /pci@1e,600000/pci@2/scsi@4 (qus0): Sep 13 09:34:12 obeora1 pci_pci: [ID 370704 kern.info] PCI-device: scsi@5, qus1 Sep 13 09:34:12 obeora1 genunix: [ID 936769 kern.info] qus1 is /pci@1e,600000/pci@2/scsi@5 Sep 13 09:34:12 obeora1 scsi: [ID 365881 kern.info] /pci@1e,600000/pci@2/scsi@5 (qus1): Sep 13 09:34:12 obeora1 pci_pci: [ID 370704 kern.info] PCI-device: scsi@4, qus2 Sep 13 09:34:12 obeora1 genunix: [ID 936769 kern.info] qus2 is /pci@1e,600000/pci@3/scsi@4 Sep 13 09:34:12 obeora1 scsi: [ID 365881 kern.info] /pci@1e,600000/pci@3/scsi@4 (qus2): Sep 13 09:34:12 obeora1 pci_pci: [ID 370704 kern.info] PCI-device: scsi@5, qus3 Sep 13 09:34:12 obeora1 genunix: [ID 936769 kern.info] qus3 is /pci@1e,600000/pci@3/scsi@5 Sep 13 09:34:12 obeora1 scsi: [ID 365881 kern.info] /pci@1e,600000/pci@3/scsi@5 (qus3): Sep 13 09:34:12 obeora1 scsi: [ID 193665 kern.info] sd61 at qus2: target 0 lun 0 Sep 13 09:34:12 obeora1 genunix: [ID 936769 kern.info] sd61 is /pci@1e,600000/pci@3/scsi@4/sd@0,0 Sep 13 09:34:12 obeora1 scsi: [ID 365881 kern.info] <SUN-StorEdge3310-0325 cyl 34746 alt 2 hd 127 sec 64> /nvramsettings probe-all cd /pci@1e,600000/pci@3/scsi@4 6 " scsi-initiator-id" integer-property device-end cd /pci@1e,600000/pci@2/scsi@4 6 " scsi-initiator-id" integer-property device-end install-console banner #eeprom use-nvramrc?=true nvramrc=nvramrc=probe-all cd /pci@1e,600000/pci@3/scsi@4 6 encode-int " scsi-initiator-id" property device-end cd /pci@1e,600000/pci@3/scsi@5 6 encode-int " scsi-initiator-id" property device-end install-console Please advise if anyone can see the obvious !
