I have already stopped and restarted > NIS on my desktop and on the server, as well as re-pushing the map. > > TIA, and I will summarize. The solution: after the last reboot, the /tools directory was changed from (~) shalmaneser 88 % df /tools /tools (auto_tools ): 0 blocks 0 files to /tools (/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 ): 200762 blocks 100872 files I rmdir the /tools directory, recreated it, and automount -v. All is well again. Thanks to: Sun. No one on the list was able to help, unfortunately. I ended up opening a ticket with Sun. +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Christopher L.
