Couple of managers were interested in my solution as they are going through the similar issue. My solution is: I am changing my configuration from v240 to v440 due to DB requirements. SUN ships v440 with 73 GB disks drives that will put DAT72 tape drive under capacity ( I will include two more v20z servers in the backup schedule). SUN doesn't sell SDLT220 any more. I have to go to SDLT320 ( 160 GB native capacity).
