Who replies that the configuration file is edited by hand in a text editor.

I did get ISBA up and working, with some effort.  And it works OK. 
OTOH, I was not able to get fwbuilder going.

This issue (configuring ipfilter) I suspect is not that big of an issue 
now, as I suspect that many are holding off from deploying Solaris 10, 
and of those who are, many also are not exposing it directly to the 
Internet, hence requiring some type of firewall software.

I expect this question to be asked again, when Solaris 10 is more widely 
deployed.

you can create/edit a configuration file with you favorite text editor
(i.e. textedit, dtpad, vi, emacs, etc)

There is a GUI editor written as Perl/TK called Isba here
