Thanks to all who replied especially Logan David, Tim Evans, Wiest Damian and Shivkumar. There is a way to achieve this: Sharity-Lite, http://www.obdev.at/products/sharity-light/index.html Thanks once again My original question was: Hi Gurus, I have Sun Solaris 8 running Samba version 2.2.8. I need to mount a Share from Windows 2000 Server to Solaris 8 box. So far was just sharing file system from Solaris onto windows but now I have request to do it other way. I need to mount Windows share onto Solaris 8. I don't think Solaris has smbfs support. I did smbclient and was able to see the share on Windows box but not sure how to mount the same. The Samba installed on my box doesn't have smbmount command. Does anyone has experience mounting Windows Share on Solaris? Any Help is greatly appreciated.
