SUMMARY: Solaris 10 ntp client issue

Many Thanks to Darren.

I was restarting ntp daemon couple of times and as per Dareen's explanation:

"If you restart ntpd, it'll take up to five minutes for it to
resync again.  It'll be down during that time.  If you restart and then
check immediately, it won't appear to be up.  Again, 'ntpq -p' will have
more details during that time"

might have caused this problem.
