-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Question: """ Hi, Sun Managers. I just bought two X2100 machines with no keyboard. This model uses a USB keyboard. I thought I had such keyboard in the office, but I failed, and now I must buy one. My question is simple: Can I use a "normal" PC USB Keyboard or must I buy the Sun stuff?. I know that SUN one have more keys, but I guess I could simulate the extra keys, like in my current keyboard switcher. The machine keyboard would be rarely used. Only as emergency measure. Thanks in advance. """ I had a lot of answers. The special Sparc keys are not relevant, since the X2100 is a "fat" x86 PC. In fact, I just bought a PC keyboard in a megastore nearby, and it works flawless. Only 15 $. Some people suggested that using an USB<->PS/2 adapter could work, but nobody tried it :-) - -- Jesus Cea Avion _/_/ _/_/_/ _/_/_/ jcea_at_argo.es http://www.argo.es/~jcea/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/_/_/_/ PGP Key Available at KeyServ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "Things are not so easy" _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "My name is Dump, Core Dump" _/_/_/ _/_/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "El amor es poner tu felicidad en la felicidad de otro" - Leibniz -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iQCVAwUBQ+vzyJlgi5GaxT1NAQK3DwP/YkRIeBZD2ghx/DTqXYasd0d1dMW664LP yMCB/uYXcOiOwsDlmC7Go4EmanUk+SNOZBQODxuiGyT0TcmriyJ6GjRcb2B/b7BL mPKmIuXjmUDDzJ7g0G+LMXjxEX0/ezafunQ72ln0UD7stUaUtGp2Jfmn3kVs/T3b f8jbxQWeqFo= =VwMq -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Thu Feb 9 21:01:25 2006
