SUMMARY: Solaris 9 as a router

I recieved the following from Rich Teer:

Put the IP address or hostname of each interface in a separate
/etc/honstname.<interface> file, make sure you don't have a filke
called /etc/notrouter, and start the interfaces using ifconfig (or
reboot if you prefer).
