So easy it was right in the output of metastat! # metareplace -e d7 c1t0d0s3 Thanks everyone! Here is my original question. I did a test and I pulled the primary boot disk and now booted off the mirror. I put the primary boot disk back in and again booted from the mirror and need to reactivate the mirrors. I want to replace it with the same exact c#t#d# as before because the primary boot disk is still good I just removed it temporarily to test booting off the mirror. What command should be used? My primary boot disk is c1t0d0 and my mirror is c1t1d0 I tried this command but that didn't work. # metareplace -e d7 c1t0d0s3 metareplace: kos: d7: unknown metadevice type # metastat d9: Mirror Submirror 0: d7 State: Needs maintenance Submirror 1: d8 State: Okay Pass: 1 Read option: roundrobin (default) Write option: parallel (default) Size: 20484288 blocks (9.8 GB) d7: Submirror of d9 State: Needs maintenance Invoke: metareplace d9 c1t0d0s3 <new device> Size: 20484288 blocks (9.8 GB) Stripe 0: Device Start Block Dbase State Reloc Hot Spare c1t0d0s3 0 No Maintenance Yes d8: Submirror of d9 State: Okay Size: 20484288 blocks (9.8 GB) Stripe 0: Device Start Block Dbase State Reloc Hot Spare c1t1d0s3 0 No Okay Yes _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Mon May 1 16:54:05 2006
