Thanks to Bernd Schemmer who suggested I use the -I option to ignore the integrity check - works a charm. Thanks also to Iain Miller for his suggestion. ________________________________ From: sunmanagers-bounces@sunmanagers.org on behalf of Rob Brown Sent: Thu 5/25/2006 11:02 To: sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org Subject: Flash archive from a filelist only All, I've been trying without success to create a flash archive using a filelist. For example I've installed oracle and ran `# find /oracle > /tmp/filelist` now I want to create a flash archive of only the files + dirs in /tmp/filelist. I've tried using `# flarcreate -n "test" -S -c -f /tmp/filelist /Flash_Archives/test.flar` but looking in the flash archive with `flar info -l` shows that I have files from /var and all other dirs in there. Looking at the man pages it seems I wanted to use a -F option to "include only file in the list specified buy the -f", but that produces the following error: "ERROR: File / registered in package database - can not be excluded." "ERROR: Integrity check failed." Can anyone point me in the correct direction?
