Folks, Sun support actually came through this time. :) For some reason, my initial install of Solaris 10 is corrupt. The file /var/sadm/install/contents is missing. This is an ASCII file which contains data about installed apps, patches, etc for the system. I don't have one of those files. So looks like I'm about to do a new install. Thank goodness this is a dev box. :) Cheers, Jim ________________________________ From: Langston, Jim Sent: Tuesday, October 17, 2006 9:08 AM To: Sun Managers Subject: Problems creating a zone Gurus, I've created several zones before on some of my T2000 servers. I'm in the process of creating some zones on dev box, a V280. I'm getting this error: cnedev2:/etc/zones#$ zoneadm -z mets-z1 install Preparing to install zone <mets-z1>. Not sure what that really accomplished. Anyone seen this or have any idea what is going on?
