Hello, Well, I found the process that was causing the iowait but I couldn't find the type of iowait it caused. We had plenty of disk I/O available, there wasn't that much paging going on etc. Anyway, with psio (http://www.brendangregg.com) I could find the process that was using the most I/O in the system. It was an Oracle process where one of the data loads was a 10-line "insert into database1 as select lot of fields from database2", so the communication between the two databases (both on the same server) was too heavy to run. -j- __________________________________________________________________________ La informacisn incluida en el presente correo electrsnico es CONFIDENCIAL, siendo para el uso exclusivo del/os destinatario/s arriba mencionado/s.
