Thanks to Ryan Anderson, Jim Musso, Stefan Varga, Dean Smith, and Tom Zurita for the responses and the following links: Metalink: 317257.1 (Best Practices for deploying Oracle DB in Sol 10 non-global container) http://www.sun.com/blueprints/0505/819-2679.pdf (A little old, but very helpful in general) The answer is to put the project in the local zone. It looks like it will also work in the global zone, but it will apply to all zones (if you have multiple DB environments).
