Opened the case with Sun and got the response: "Just emailing for an update on this ticket. I have reviewed it and it looks like there are plans for support for jumbo frames on the bge interface on Solaris 10 update 4 but it looks like it has not yet been implemented. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask me, otherwise, please let me know how you would like to proceed with this case." So I guess we'll have to wait for Update 5 :( -------------------------------------------------- Hello Admins, A bit of a silly question but I'm running out of patience with this thing. Does anyone know how to configure the bge interface to talk jumbo MTU 9000 size? On my v240 running SunOS Release 5.10 Version Generic_118833-36 64-bit I tried the /kernel/drv/bge.conf but still getting 1500 for MTU size. # grep bge /etc/path_to_inst "/pci@1f,700000/network@2" 0 "bge" "/pci@1f,700000/network@2,1" 1 "bge" "/pci@1d,700000/network@2" 2 "bge" "/pci@1d,700000/network@2,1" 3 "bge" # cat /kernel/drv/bge.conf name=bge parent=/pci@1d,700000 unit-address=2 default_mtu=9000; What am I doing wrong? Thanks a bunch!
