Sorry i may have mislead some people by not mentioning the official response from Casper Dik which is :- "tcp wrappers cannot work on inetd launched udp based services. For TCP, the wrappers work by interposing on the handoff between the connect (handled by inetd) and starting the daemon; with UDP, the daemon is tart for the first packet to arrive; if that packet is allowed the daemon starts and all further calls will be allowed through. Use a proper firewall instead." The SunFreeware readme i mentioned ( located here http://www.sunfreeware.com/README.tcpwrappers ) mentions tftpd as being supported so i guess i dont know why if it cannot be possible.
