Thanks to all who responded. I got several answers that were very similar and all very helpful. The end result is that it's not just as simple as using lofiadm and mount. Separate images must be pulled from the ISO for each slice, which can be done using dd and then those images can be mounted with lofiadm and dd. See the following pages for more information: http://home.arcor.de/bnsmb/public/htdocs/split_cdrom_isoimage.html http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/content/submitted/cd_free_install.html http://www.bolthole.com/solaris/mount-cdrom.html Thanks again for the help! -Matt On 10/24/07, Matt Chesler <mchesler@chesent.com> wrote: > Hi all, > > I am familiar with being able to mount ISO images using lofiadm and > mount, but this question specifically relates to ISO images of the > Solaris install DVD.
