Yes, a larger disk will work fine in a V240. Some people warned that there could be additional heat generated. We installed a 300GB Seagate drive yesterday without any issues. Does anyone have any personal experience with using a larger disk in the V240? Will it depend on PROM? If so, what version is needed to run a larger disk? We need to move data from our SAN disks to a local disk before the particular SAN experiences a failure in order to minimize any outages.
