SUMMARY meta database - disk failing

Thanks to all who replied.

I opened a case with SUN and originally they said the disk needed
replacing but after a week of emails it turns out that all that needed
to be done was to delete the meta database on c0t2d0s7 and recreate them
which I did.  Now metadb shows

Which has the meta database on c0t2d0s7 as updated - not sure why the
"l" and "o" flags are not showing up. But the write error is gone.

I have a disk going out on my SUN T2000.

There are two internal disks - one a mirror.

The disk that is going bad has the master mirror database on it.



Can you tell me the procedures for breaking the mirror and replacing the

disk without losing the data on it?
