okay,
I didn't find the correct solution, but the following helped:

I reinstalled the entire server with the latest solaris 10 u7, no 
special locale but the standard US_en and posix.

Patched all the stuff, then it worked.

I setted also the root password not longer than 15 characters, as it is 
supported by SMC.
I guess the problem was the locale I setted on fr_CH so DON'T SET 
SPECIAL LOCALES when you install Solaris 10 ...
