Many thanks to those who tried to help especially to Sergey Prilutsky. It turned out that : A) LUN number was too high - I was able to reproduce server crash (on several servers) by adding LUN 200 Adding LUN 35 didn't cause any problems B) Fix was provided by Symantec support - to install the latest Array Policy Module for our Sun 6140 array. This resolved the issue - LUN 200 is not causing server crash.
