Thank you to Julien Gabel for his answer :-) Below, on his blog, is the solution: http://blog.thilelli.net/post/2010/05/02/Live-Upgrading-When-Diagnostics-Mode-Is-Enabled Regards Przemek ----- Forwarded message from przemolicc@poczta.fm ----- From: przemolicc@poczta.fm To: sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org Subject: Live Upgrade doesn't activate new BE Date: Tue, 20 Jul 2010 10:18:41 +0200 Hello, we have Solaris 10 (no zones) 10/08 + last recommended patches + LU patches + eeprom patch. Current BE is called 1008. I have created new BE '1009' by: - installing LU packages from 10/09 iso. - installing latest LU patches - lucreate -n 1009 ... - upgrade from iso (10/09) - apply the same recommended patches to the new BE - luactivate 1009 But after 'init 6' the old BE is booted (1008). When I lumount 1009 I can confirm in /etc/releases that it is 10/09. I have done in the past many LUs but there was no such issues. Did anybody faced such problem ?
