Alas our networking group couldn't seem to understand trunking and VLAN's even though I provided the information supplied by Chris C. I had them removing the trunking on the booting system. We've been successful with moving existing system to the tagged vlans but we'd like to setup new systems with this feature before we install them. I tried a simple net boot (boot net -s) but the TFTP arp requests (Requesting Internet Address for <mac>) never seem to get to the jumpstart server. (Which by the way is one of the ones we moved to tagged nets after it was installed.) Is it possible to have jumpstarts work on a tagged system? > > JC _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Wed Oct 13 11:20:09 2010
